Day 10
We are going camping. Russ has spent the day prepping the RV and I have gathered blankets and pillows and boots and shoes and extra outfits and pjs and we are loaded and going... we are going to his Dad's cabin, so even if we fail at the camping part, Grandma and Grandpa will be there and the girls will be well-attended to.
I will have time to look at the lake and rock in the chair and later, sit by the fire and think about where our lives have been and where they are going. It will be nice, I think...
It will be an adventure for these girls.... they aren't just 'girls in pink'... they are going to be country girls too...
So grateful for my family. These days, when I am feeling good, and still don't feel beaten down by the chemo, I love the little moments of normal things that we can do to keep us real, together, happy, adventuring.
We are doing it... life. Proud of us and proud of me. We will see how it goes.
